Gary M. Hosea was born in 1953, at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Kittery, Maine. During his early childhood, Gary learned from his parents the importance of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and self-sacrifice.
Gary's father made the US Navy his career ~ in the medical field and in submarines. Gary's father retired from the US Navy and went to work in the Pharmacy Department of the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Diego. He eventually retired as the Director of Pharmaceutical Logistics and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gary attended High School in San Diego California. Upon graduation, Gary M. Hosea began his career of selfless service to Our Country through his enlistment in the US Army.
While serving as an US Army Soldier, Gary was assigned to various leadership positions throughout the world. He gained extensive college training and US Army experience in both the Administration and the Intelligence fields.
In 1992, Gary M Hosea retired from the US Army and moved to Texas. He obtained employment with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ.) Gary holds the distinction of receiving the first-ever Safety Award for his exemplary supervision of prison inmates. After three years, Gary said "good bye" to TDCJ to further his education.
Gary M. Hosea obtained two college degrees while serving in the US Army. He obtained an additional degree after returning to civilian life.

Shortly after achieving his 2nd Masters Degree, Gary Hosea relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to care for his aging parents. He obtained work as a Clark County employee. As a Clark County employee, Gary has gained unpleasant insights into how much importance is being placed on Special Interest Groups and Politicos to the sad detriment of the Clark County residents.
Gary's family and extended family have resided in Las Vegas for years. Gary Hosea has an affinity for the residents of Las Vegas and Clark County. He is highly qualified for the elected office of Clark County Commissioner District B, and has an exemplary record of selfless service to others.

My educational skills and my "US Army get it done right the first time attitude," combined with my past and present experience as a Clark County employee will be put to maximum use as YOUR Clark County District B Commissioner.
The job of County Commissioner is described as a “Part-Time” job. I will be the first-ever full-time Commissioner! I will not have any other employment or distractions to restrict my dedication to the improvement of Clark County Commission District B.”
